We are so excited to have worked with Heather Wood from Ravenous Raven Design @ http://www.ravenousravendesign.com. I have to dedicate this first Blog to her, as she made the experience a positive one. She knew what I wanted even when I could not put it into words. She continued to communicate with me about what she was doing, having me look at it, give her content, make sure that it was looking the way I wanted. If I could give advice to anyone thinking about designing their own web site as I was, please reconsider, I say this for you my friend, not me or her.
I did a lot of research when picking a designer and I kept going back to Ravenous Raven Design. There are many reasons why, one being that she had recent clients that she had designed for linked on her web site and for me that is big. All her web site designs are amazing and varied in style and content, as well as business type. Also, I did not want to work with a big commercial designer. Solar System Athletic Supply is a small, family owned business and I wanted to give my business to someone that was likewise. I wanted to support someone that was in essence doing what we were doing by running their own business. Last but not least, I needed to trust the individual I was working with. When I e-mailed Heather the first time, she immediately responded. On her web site she has so much content and information. She has a full range of web site design price points to fit your needs, and it is clear and uncomplicated, no hidden fees and costs, all of which are extremely reasonable. I could go on and on, but you get the point.
Our site has only been up a week and we are already getting calls! Thank you Heather!
